The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia was established in 1964 for the purpose of providing fellowship among the evangelical missionaries serving in Zambia. It is a voluntary Christian church mother body registered under the Registrar of Societies in Zambia as a nonprofit organization, with tax exempt status. The scope of the group was later expanded to cover not only missionaries but also the general fraternity of evangelical denominations, local churches, mission organizations, para-church organizations and individuals etc.
We, therefore, wish to encourage you to browse on and acquaint your self with our activities. Your feedback is also greatly valued.

We the three Christian Church Mother Bodies namely: the Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ), the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) and the Zambia Episcopal Conference (ZEC) are repeatedly saddened at the rampant political violence that keeps on popping its ugly face especially in the recent by-elections. As people who have a God given mandate of exercising the prophetic mission in our nation and in our time, we cannot tolerate such abominable and immoral acts being committed right before our very eyes. Our nation today, stands at the crossroads and we are in a crisis.

ZAMBIA ALTERNATIVE MINING INDABA
DECLARATION
We, the participants of the Zambia Alternative Mining Indaba under the theme “Mining in Zambia; who benefits?” having gathered at Cresta Golf View Hotel in Lusaka from 19th -21st June 2012 and met under the auspices of the three Church mother bodies namely: Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ), Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) and Zambia Episcopal Conference (ZEC) . Participants were drawn from traditional leaders, Civil Society Organizations (CSO) and representatives from communities in South Africa, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, United Kingdom, who shared experiences and knowledge pertaining to the detrimental effects of extractive Industries. The participants note with concern that Zambia despite being rich in mineral resources, more than 60 percent of the people live under poverty datum line and the 2010 Human Development Index put Zambia on 150 out of 169 countries……..We share not relent in our quest for social justice in the management of our natural resources!!!!!!!
